EMILIO PUCCI OPENS A STORE IN KOREA

April 2017
Emilio Pucci is pleased to announce the opening of its boutique in Korea, located at the third floor of Galleria East Luxury Hall in Seoul. The store displays the luxury fashion for which Emilio Pucci is renowned: ready-to-wear, signature silk accessories, handbags, shoes, small leather goods and beachwear. The Florentine brand’s distinctive product is showcased in a clean, modern setting with a moss-pink Parioli print designed on the walls that is an eye-catching detail that sums up the strong visual codes of the brand: prints and colors. Parioli print is an archive print from 1950 that has been used in recent collections and whose clean geometric lines express, in this variation, a symphony of pink. The ready to wear collection hangs on black lacquered metal racks, while glass shelving features handbags, sneakers and other leather goods. Foulards are folded in a glass-topped chest of drawers in the center of the space, while a light pink carpet, that matches the wall Parioli print, adds a soft touch under the foot. In the seating area the distinctive bespoke “Rive droite” armchairs produced by Cappellini, that present a design signature of the brand, and a side table matches with the minimalist structure of the store. Luxurious and sophisticated materials enhance the relaxed and dynamic spirit of the Emilio Pucci Resort and Spring-Summer 2017 collections designed by Creative Director Massimo Giorgetti which will be presented during the opening on March 17th. Emilio Pucci is delighted to establish a presence in Korea, a market that has great influence in the Asia-Pacific region, especially in the areas of pop culture and fashion. Targeting a sophisticated local clientele, the new Pucci boutique in Seoul reinforces brand’s footprint in Asia, where it operates in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, among other Southeast Asian locations, and has a consolidated presence in Japan. In addition, the Pucci store network extends to the world’s most relevant fashion capitals -- Milan, New York, Rome, Paris and London -- as well as luxury resort destinations such as Portofino and Saint Tropez, and globally across over 50 countries through its online flagship emiliopucci.com.
